Try media jukebox (http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/) and use the girder plug in to get into the 'menu'. Then you have a perfect way to selet the songs you want to play on your TV screen. The good thing is, this feature is for free.

This is the big thing I miss.... there isn't a way to get the current title huh?
Couldn't you grab it or somthing from the window title?
There's also some user_command or something which writes the current playlist away and returns the current position...
couldn't this be parsed onto a OSD? Is it difficult to write such a plug for Girder?
Anyone suggestions? I just like to see my playlist but only the number playing would be just great too!!!
I know there is this winamp program "WinAmp on TV" but it sucks. It doesn't display the current winamp playlist.
I tried to get my playlist fonts bigger too with some winamp plug but that isn't possible (I think)

hey.. thanx for the advice
I'll give it a try (since I met music match Jukebox I normally ignored any program named jukebox )
But this program looks nice and if it does what you say..

The complication here is simply that WINAMP's PlayList font size value cannot be changed via API. The only solution I know of is to automate the following procedure:
1. Close winamp
2. Change the PL font size in winamp's winamp.ini.
3. Re-start winamp.
This is cumbersome, and would stop any song that is currently being played, but it works.
