[WinLIRC2Girder]Cannot clean up windows sockets ...???

Which plugin is doing this? ( So enable them one by one until the error pops up ) Also specify Operating system etc.

Yes winlirc plugin uses Sockets... guess something is messed up in your OS :smile:

Now when I start up Girder, and automaticly enable the input devices I get the error:
"Cannot clean up windows sockets",
and Girder won't enable :sad:

Also WinLIRC doesn't seem to start (there's no icon in the tray)

well I really messed around with my OS (winXP) lately so I might have fucked up something. I'm thinking of a complete re-install right now.

I already re-installed TCP/IP.. is there something else i could try?

I didn't try which one caused the error but I have only two activated: device notify and WinLIRC2Girder. I guessed it's just caused by WinLIRC2Girder ..?

nevermind..I've just installed winXP again... :sad:

But everything works fine now.

a complete reïnstall has always been the best remedy for me.. :grin: keeps good riddance...
