Hi,
I'm new here, so first: hello @ all.

I seem to have a big problem. This is my third forum to try to solve my problem.
Here are the two other forum links for that problem:
http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mboard/rc-x10/thread.cgi?3810 (English)
http://62.206.102.34/vbportal/forums/showthread.php?s=0dca248cdd63c99f7fbdc79257e673e1&postid=549852#post549852 (German)

Here are my specifics:
- WinXP Pro
- Girder 3.3.7 with Generic X10 Plugin
- Medion Receiver (Driver is this one: http://www1.medion.de/downloads/dow...econtrol.exe〈=de, WinXP shows it as "X10 USB Wireless Transceiver V2.36")
- Philips Pronto 950 V3.0 (European version, App. 3.1.15, DB version 2.60E, Boot V2.3.6b)
- ProntoEditNG 2.0.9

A photo of the set: http://www.stefanwissing.de/images/pronto_set.jpg

Idea is to receive the codes and use them with Girder with customized commands.
Problem is, Girder never received from pronto a command (so far), but with the enclosed remote it's working.

Does anyone has a hint or even a solution ?
Thank you...

Prontos only send IR codes - the RF is to connect to a Pronto RF extender which in turn sends out IR.

You'll need an IR receiver.

At the moment I'm using my Pronto with
1. Intertechno CMR 500 RF-Receiver to control my screen
2. system Koppla from Ikea (sockets with dim functionallity)

I don't have any extender, I control them directly.
I think the pronto sends the commands in IR or RF as you wish and as you program it.
The problem is to get the codes.

I think the pronto sends the commands in IR or RF as you wish and as you program it.

I'm pretty sure that this isn't the case. Those two pieces of equipment must have been specially designed to work with the Pronto's RF mode.

I can't show you the opposite.
Thanks anyway.
