i have a microsoft 1040 remote control reciever/transmitter box that comes with media center. is there any way to use this to control my sky+ box (pace 3100) using xp pro? it has 2 ir blasters but i dont have a clue on what software i need to do this (girder or netremote) it sees the box on my pc as a HID complient device but when using the HID plugin for girder it has 5 tick boxes next to it and no writing next to it. i have enabled them all but it wont see my sky remote. the box sees the remote and a light flashes in the reciever but girder doesnt see the commands. if u use the remote from microsoft (model 1039) it flashes in girder. any ideas on how i can get this running please. i dont know much about girder and nothing about netremote. thanks all.
