wow aint been here for ages
anyway, was wondering if anyone has already setup a way of sending and recieving infrared codes through a usb device, cheap, even schematics to build it, and had the plugins working so i can use a remote on my pc for controlling it but also for my remote to tell the pc to send codes to a wireless a/v device, which in turn sends the ir to the other wireless av device to control my cable tv box.

hopefully this all works with the free version of girder :P
