Can anyone walk (hold mu Hand) me through the install of the powermate plugin,

I have a GML that I use now to work with my receiver and I want to use it to run my Mute toggle and volume up and down.

I'm using girder with a serial to my receiver and also USBUIRT via the input on the back.

Thanks in advance

Ken, simply put the powermate in the plugins folder, make sure the powermate software is not running and startup girder and enable the plugin...

If you have version 2.0 of the plugin -> check the girder page then I am out of suggestions... :(

Will I see any thing in my Device manager?

you must see the powermate in the device manager v 1.51 and v2.0 in the girder setup page.

When I load Powermate.exe I can set the blink rate so I know somthing is working.

I'm rebooting and will look further. If I don't see anything I will uninstall and re install.

For the record powermate version is 1.53 now. Don't now what the changes are?

you must see it in the device driver. you most likely have it installed incorrectly. i bet the powermate software doesn't work to control other appsl.

Mike Thanks for the help,

It was showing up as an generac HID. Had to force a driver install and all is well.

It's loaded now in Girder.

I will start a new thread about getting to Powermate to send a command to my recevier via a IR command.
