reset state after an specified time

I think using Alarmtimer would work. Define a command to reset the state and have this command execture at the end of the time defined in alarmtimer.

I use girder to control the creative dvd-player for the dxr2-MPEG-card.
I want, that the state of an multicommand will be reseted to the beginning.
And so how can i reset an state of a multicommand group after a time which i can
specify or when will be this features added to girder?

I hope you understand what i want. Because my English is very bad.
