I've created this girder setup with a Osd menu etc and now I wanted to try it out on a TV. The problem is that WinLIRC doesn't recoginize any IR anymore when I activate the Dualhead clone option. I can press any button I want but the icon stays gray... if I turn clone of it responds normally again.
The clone option allows me to see the desktop on the secondary monitor-connection. (to which the TV is connected). without it the use of OSD's completely lost it function...
edit:
found this at a WinLIRC site:
It doesn't work with TV out turned on, or dual monitors
I had one report where WinLIRC simply wouldn't work if the guy turned on dual monitor support or when he used his video card's TV out feature. Again, the only thing I can suggest here would be to try to change stuff around; try upgrading drivers, switching video cards, etc.
anyone with suggestions? other IR hardware perhaps? I've always used WinLIRc so I haven't really an idea what coudl be usefull. I already have a generic one-for-all remote controll
