Simple IR transmitter...

Hi,

I have a simple IR blaster device (nothing more than a simple circuit with a LED etc connected to a serial port)...
I want to use Girder to control my Sky+ box. I have the Sky+ remote config file, downloaded from the internet, but I'm at a loss to work out how to configure Girder (using event.exe) to output it via this serial IR transmitter. I've seen the plugins etc for the USB-UIRT, but they aren't any use to me as far as I can see...

Any ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem. I'd like to use BeyondTV, with Girder controlling my Pansat FTA receiver, using a 'simple' IR blaster described above. Any do-it-yourself IR blaster with available schematics will do, I want to build my own. Please help. TIA.
