I have used a old Logitech remote and reciever for a while and have gotten down the basics of using girder with it. Recently i have lost my remote but still have my reciever and all my commands setup. I tried using a diffrent remote ones for a tv or cd player but when i try to set them up to a command all the buttons show up as the same command(or number as its displayed to a newb) is this just like a wake up signal for the device like the tv and then the real code is sent? Or what am i missing?
