To make Girder start in the tray use the file/settings menu. Go to the "User Interface" tab and check the two boxes "Traybar mode" and "Hide on startup".

i did not have an UIR, what i have is a IRDA which came with my Pilot m505. so i did try another IR thing i have, the one that comes with the PixelView Tuner card. everything works ok, but only when using the PixelView Remote control. in a way i understand this, but is this normal ? that port is somehow designed to work only with that RC unit or should work also with another ones ? i did try several and none worked, but the one i said it does.

where i can get a decent UIR which works with 99% of RC Units and i can do all those automation i need ? any recomandation ?
