Hello, I recently have gained interest in USB-URIT and emailed the makes about it with this:

Hello I recently gained a great interest in your product and after checking through out your site I had one question left because I bought it. Is it possible so that I can get a remote and with programming abilities be able to do such things as maximizing a window and program that into a remote. Then press the button so that the USB-UIRT can receive this and do the action?

They replied saying that Girdir can do this, however, I see no place it says you can do this. Is this possible?

With Girder pretty much anything is possible. All the 'programming' will be in Girder.

What you want to do is pretty straightforward using Girder.

So I can be like across the room and hit a button, then it will maximize the window using Girdir? Is there a list of functions to what Girdir can do?

I don't know of a complete list. Besides, since you can add plugins to Girder there's no real limit on the number of things it can do. Best to just explore the program.
