Note: in Girder 3.0.24 and below there is a little bug that cause multigroups to ignore state. This was fixed in the latest 3.0.25 prereleases.

you can use the sendmessage plugin to check if winamp is playing, paused or stopped and use this data in if statements to decide what the desired efect of the incoming event will be...

I had no trouble in making a multicommand to use the same string to play and pause my winamp, but i had these problem:
If i play the winamp and then STOP it (other string) when i press play again it doesn't start playing, when i press play again then the playing starts.
if i play the winamp then pause it (same string) then stop it, when i press play the playing starts.
i've tried to set a multicommand that reset the play/pause state and stop the winamp but this didn't work.
Any ideas? Thank you.

Thanks, Ernie!
Your alternative was good and would probably work, but i finally understand how "reset state" works.
For anyone having the same problem as me, remember that it is not useful to reset the multicommand state and it is not enough to reset just one command, so, reset all of them and it would work perfectly as it did it for me!
This is really a very powerful program.
