as I mentioned earlier I have a prob with WinLIRC. as soon as I turn on my TV-out (Matrox G450 DH) it doesn't pass any information anymore to girder, though it display incoming IR data in the raw-output.
Maybe someon knows how to test if it still send events (through TCP/IP)?

Now I'm looking for some alternatives but I don't have any idea where to start. What kind of IR kits are sold and what can I make at home. maybe I could take advantage of the IR-connection on my mainboard?
