Welcome to Girder!
Have the shortcut invoke a new copy of Girder like this:
PATH_TO_GIRDERgirder.exe -eventstring <name>
This will execute the event <name>. Good luck.
EDIT: In this case use:
PATH_TO_GIRDERgirder.exe -eventstring 7400A0

I'm fairly new to both Girder and Talisman and don't know for sure whether this can be accomplished. What I am trying to do is set up a Talisman theme that is "Wife Friendly". Right now, I have macros set up that automatically dim the two sets of lights in my home theater (by using "alt-F5" as my command), along with other things like starting up a Powerpoint presentation and initiating a Sonique Playlist of showtunes (using "alt-F6").
I'm trying to set up a "shortcut" that allows me to duplicate the "alt-F(number)" keypress to initiate the macro in Girder. If I can do this, I can easily incorporate it into Talisman. Problem is, I don't know the proper syntax to do this. I know that "alt-F5" shows up as "7400A0" in the learned IR box. What do I do now?

I actually got it to work last night. Now, I'm trying to develop a HTML based section inside Talisman that has the album titles along with cover art that someone (namely my wife) can just click on the song and it will play. Problem is, I can't seem to get the song to play in my player of choice. It always plays as a Quicktime file, even though I have the file set to play in Sonique under the file's properties. We'll se what happens with that.
