Ah the timer plugin.

But am I correct when I assume that the problem lies in the shutdown action, not the timer. Did you ever try to use the shutdown action separately from the timer ?

Than I can only say that this isn't a girder problem. If an external program doesn't get WinXP to shutdown, then don't expect Girder to get it to shutdown. If anyone knows about an other way to shutdown the computer this let us know.

I guess you tried the shutdown action,.. right ?

Ei!!! Thnak you!!! Yesterday I looked for this kind of question but i didn't found it. I still have some little problems with win XP, is there any version of Girder for win XP? How can I make a timmer like I did in win 98 se with the Timmer plugin? I really miss that one...

I know that girder works under win xp, but the timmer doesn't work properly... I don't know how to explain why. I put 1 minute timmer and when the countdown finishes it doesn't shut down... Seems like the plugin don't make winxp to shut down. i think that my english is a little low to explain this: sorry:

Yes I've tried this too but it doesn't work... I've tried the command "shutdown.exe" and it takes my computer to the "Now you can turn off your ..." screen but it doesn't turn off completly my computer. I don't know if I've explained correctly. Thanks a lot.

I just have tried "shutdown -s -f -t 00" and happened the same, the "Now you can turn of your system..." screen appeared. This is what you wanted to know? I don't know where is the diference between the command "shutdown" and the normal way to shut down the computer (this one really shuts down mi pc like i want girder to do) can you help me? i explained correctly?
