Yes this is a problem with the Irserver, use the UIR/Irman plugin, that solves this problem.

No I think that is brain dead
The X is for closing, not minimizing/hiding.
Just my 2 cents.

While talking about minimizing...
is it possible to have an option, that consider when you close (with the X button) the Girder window, that put it in the tray and not close the application... (many softs are doing that.. and for a "service-program", it's very usefull !
thx !

I'm new to Girder, so please bare with me if this is something that has been previously addressed. What a terrific program!
If Girder is running while minimized, in either the system tray or task bar, it will not recognize commands from my remote. If its open in a window, even in background, it works fine.
I am using an IrMan, with the IrServer program running minimized in the System Tray. IrServer is my hardware plugin. I am using Windows 2000.
Perhaps it would be best to ditch the IrServer program and run Girder directly?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice. Really looking forward to learning more about Girder and using it more extensively.
