Hiding menu items

I can't find a way to stop Girder hiding some menu items (like what they use in Office, hiding "less used" ietems - one of the first things I turn off on a new install!). Is this not possible yet, or haven't I looked in the right place?

Right click on the icon bar. Customize->Options, uncheck menus show recently used commands first.

Thanks a lot, Ron! A "feature" that has always annoyed me in all programs that has it... :roll:

An oddity on that one: When the menues are partly hidden, clicking for instance on "Help" and moving the mouse along the meny line won't open the other menues it hovers over. They have to be clicked on. When the "feature" is turned off, they pop out like they should.
