I am interested in capturing RS-232 activity via a terminal emulator. The reason I wish to do this is to gain control of my CM11A without utilizing the powerline interface. I have tried many different bauds (2400 - 9600) and different permutations of flow control (hardware, none, etc.) but I just get worthless info in terminal screen (ZZZZZZ, etc.).
Is it possible to monitor X-10 activity using a CM11A connected to COM1 and, if so, what am I doing incorrectly? Thanks to all!
