I'm not sure what VLC is. I'm working on docs for an API for MediaBridge 2, if you can program in any .NET language, you can write a plugin for MediaBridge 2.

ben,
vlc is an awsome mediaplayer -> www.videolan.org
it plays all of the various formats i have without having to search & install seperate filters/codecs. great.
every time zplayer breaks - i change to vlc -> no problem.
the only thing why i still use zplayer is -> i can control it via nr & get feedback to nr.

Well, for controlling you could use Girder. I've made a standard control file for Girder 4 for it, it's in the Download area, but I'll just post the link here..
