I am finally getting around to adding JRiver MC functions to my CCF. I found one example CCF that looked pretty good but uses a master template. My main CCF uses a master template as well and I'm not clear how to integrate the two.
Is there a:
1) method for having a CCF call another and returing or
2) way to copy panels with the underlying master templates as a single object that I can copy into my existing one or
3) CCF with JRMedia functions on a panel that I can copy right in or
4) ???
thx don

Unfortunately no. Right now it's hard to do this.
Are you using Home, Device, and Macro devices? You might be able to have the JRMC stuff in the macro group, and set the macro template?

Hi Ben,
I'm using, Home, Devices, and System types, no Macros. I'll see what I can do using Macro; otherwise, I guess it's going to be a manual cut/paste/glue job. so... how close is the new designer?? :D

Somewhat close. Tying up a few loose ends. Public beta soon.

You might be able to have the JRMC stuff in the macro group, and set the macro template?I used the Macro template to store the master template from the JRMC ccf and I created a macro to store the other panels. A few bits went missing during the copy and the limit of one transparent color setting per CCF were the only problems I came across.. I changed the transparent color in the new panels to match.
Hopefully, the new designer allows transparent color to be set by device or some other grouping.
Thanks Don
