Yep that is very normal, maybe the icon is a bit confusing. ( If anyone has a better suggestion please lets hear it)

The way the new girder works with eventstrings is this: Every command / multicommand can have multiple eventstrings, you can add and delete them as you like. Every eventstring is depicted by a traffic sign, by selecting it and pressing learn event you assign an eventstring to it.

I installed the latest beta5 and ran the latest 30-31 converter.

I started Girder and imported the new GML file created by the converter. When I look into the details, there is a new eventstring line in every command. It has a red triangle with an exclaimation inside.

Is this normal? Can I delete them or why do I need to keep them?

My suggestion is to replace the icon. The red and dots which look like an exclaimation mark make it look like an error or warning.

I would stay with color grey to be consistent with the other detail icons. I don't have any good suggestions for icons except to use the same remote theme and maybe place it on the horizontal to represent a "string".
