Need help on selfmade IR-receiver

I think you need the winlirc stuff, maybe the igor plugin will work, I don't know just an (un) educated guess.

Yes you can use Girder, but you have to use Winlirc to access the hardware. Girder then hooks up to winlirc.

I have a similar LIRC compatible receiver and have found that the Igor SFH 56 (http://www.girder.nl/download.php?Link=17) plugin works better with Girder than WinLIRC+WinLIRC2Girder. It recognizes more remotes, and there is one less program running. Be sure to set the input signal to DCD in Igor's plugin if you decide to use it.

Hello!

First I have to say that I am a Girder newbie.
Now to my problem. I build an IR-receiver based on this C´T article -> http://www.heise.de/ct/00/18/208/default.shtml . This is a german article but if you scroll all the way down to where it says "Minimal-Empfänger", you will find an image on the right side describing the IR-receiver.
I now want to use this receiver with girder but I really have no clue how to do it. Where do I have to start? Do I have to use a plugin? Which plugin do I have to use? I want to use an exported group so I don´t have to bither on making a new group - I only want to know how to use this receiver with girder.
I really hope you can help me.

Ah....now I know! I will try it.

I found out one thing. I used a little programm called "SerialWatcher" to see if my selfmade receiver works and to see what happens when I press a button on my remote. I found out that everytime I press a button another command is send to the receiver. Do you know why?

I still have one little thing taht downs´t work perfect. Whenever I press a button on my remote, I get stutters at Winamp. Anybody knows how to solve this problem?
