Fun part is that the keyboard driver did not change ( as far as I know ) did it do this with Girder 3.0 also ?

Indeed there is a noticable lag even on my machine. I'll try to find out where this comes from.

I have a solution, well more like a temporary fix. Download it at
http://www.stack.nl/~stilgar/files/keyboard20b.zip
Again let me know if it fixes the problem

There is nothing else I can do now, this is the bare minimum, Girder 3, really could not have done a better job at it.

Also running something like word on a slower comuter, there is alot of lag after the keypress. try moving arround some text with the arrow keys.
Doesn't do it with 3.0 or the keyboardex plugin.

It seems it cannot coexist with 3D-games (Quake III, Serious Sam 1 and 2, maybe other....)
When I press a keyboard in a game, picture freezes until I release a key. I have checked it with new and old keyboard plugins.

I am afraid that it is a Girder 3.1 problem, not plugin.
All versions of Girder 3.0 are OK with games for a long time.
Girder 3.1 beta 5, 7, 8 are NOT. (WinXP)

I've tested it. It works better but not ideally. Small pause just after keypress is present nevertheless.
