Netremote not sending buttons to IPAQ (or any other PC)

Hi all,

I've been modifiying the excelent NOWPlaying 2005 ccf to suit my personal needs. I am however having some problems with on/off buttons or the lightplates that Netremote is supposed to send to REMOTE pc's.
On my Homeseer PC everything works fine (on / off buttons, lightplates,etc.), but on my remote netremotes (hmmm.) the buttons don't seem to activate.

Anyone seen this before?

jwilson is probably the best person to help out with this. I'm not quite understanding.

Are you saying that hitting a button on the PPC doesn't do anything? Are the settings correct to point it at the homeseer server? Is there a firewall in the way?

Ben,

In nowplaying there are several buttons that change will you press it. A power button for example shows a red LED. When you press "ON". When you press "OFF" the LED turns off aswell.
The trick is that the nrmcj script sends a new GIF for each button. My problem is that this works on my PC, but not on my IPAQ :(

To answer the question: the functionality of the button works, but the button doesn't change appearance.

Are you using jwilson's PPC version, or converting the full size?

If PPC, I'm assuming jwilson would best be able to help. Try pm'ing him and let him know this post is here.
