Girder 3 plugins with G4

Will Girder 4 have backwards compatibility support for Girder 3 plugins?

I am currious becaUse I am playing around with Girder 4 with my mlserver plugin, and I do not yet understand how to associate an action with it. In g3 one just selected the plugin from the "plugin" tab and filled out the action UI.

In g4 I see the actions are listed in a tree format. So how does one configure an action with a G3 plugin, *without* making code changes to the plugin?

Some G3.3 plugins will work with G4, but from my experience they need to be in a pre established GML from the previous version, and you cannot modify them because you do not have the GUI for them.

I have the same experience. So does that mean there will be no update ability via g4 with g3.3 plugins?

I am not sure if Jon's usbuirt update for g4 works with the uirt2 or not.

Plugins will need a chance to display a menu from girder tree. Ron can help you out with that.
