Sure, just check "Traybar Mode" in the settings dialog on the "User interface" tab.

Service is not _yet_ possible.

The rewrite of Girder 3.1 is getting closer to this though. But don't expect this until version 3.2+

Is it possible to run Girder without showing it in the taskbar? I wish it visible only as a tray icon (near the clock).

What about running Girder as NT/2000/XP service?

I'm a new user, so may be I've missed something?
