I have an icon based on the state of Girder.LinkActive. Normally if I turn the ppc off while NR is running and then turn it on again the icon will go red after about 1 second and then as the wifi connects (about 5 more seconds) it will go away (equivalent to going green if you like). But now when I turn the ppc back on the red icon does not appear. It was quite handy 'cos it told me exactly when the signal had returned.

Has something changed recently?

I have noted similar behaviour with my red dot recently. It never vanishes on a resume. But seems to work ok on startup.

In the General Config, make sure "start NetRemote on resume" is checked. I'm actually going to make this the default with the next install.

I made this disabled by default because I was getting a lot of complaints from people that they couldn't uninstall NetRemote properly. This option addition "fixed" it, but I have since found the actual fix for the uninstall issue.

That option is checked but no matter what I do NR will no longer update the status of Girder.LinkActive when the PPC is switched on. Even if I turn wifi off while NR is running the status does not change nor does it change if I turn the ppc off then on again. The only time I can get it to change is by restarting NR.

[Edit - also exiting Girder on the server while NR is connected will change the status]

Okay, I'll take a look. Thanks JLee.
