Sorry if this has been asked b4, but there are so many threads resulting from my search that it's difficult top find what I'm after.

My question is a quick one (I assume)...

Why do some .lua files need to be in the same directory as the .ccf but others go in the lua directory??

Finally getting back into designing my new .ccf.... after a break of about a year!!!

Cheers

All the files in the lua directory (normally these are shipped with NR and would not be user configurable) are loaded every time NR starts up.

The lua file in your ccf directory that has the same name as your ccf (except for the extension) is only loaded when that specific ccf is in use and it's this file that's generally user configurable (if you know what you're doing!).

Thanks, that's kind of what i thought, but at least I can stop messing around with different directories now and concentrate on my own .lua...... GULP!
