View Full Version : is girder working to teach the hotkeys on my mini keyboard??

hi.. im testeing girder to solve my problem .. an i hope its the program to do this..

can girder execute keyboard sortcuts (such as strg+shift+p) on a keypress of my keyboard (special key)

.. i have al livingroom keyboard that works as a normal keyboard and it has special keys
like play , stop, ffd , rew. now i want to control my media center edition 2005 with it.
is there a way to program the play button of my keyboard with the shortcut ctrl+shift+p??? and if this works can you show me how??

please help me .. i realy found no proggie that can map one key with shortcuts..

If Girder can see the button press from your keyboard then you can use it. Download Girder 4 from the beta area. Install. Open the logger window and press a button on your keyboard. See if an event comes in.

ok this works.. i can see the keys pressed

can you give me a sample how i cam map (example ctrl+shift+p to the play key )????

check the help file for g4... it explains this.
