View Full Version : MSVCR71.dll? We don't need no stinkin' MSVCR71.dll!

On a newly installed computer with the latest Girder beta I get "The program can not start because MSVCR71.dll isn't in the system. This problem may be solved by installing the program again." This is translated from norwegian, so it's probably not the exact wording of the english version, but you get my drift. What is this all about? I'm guessing that I haven't seen this before because I haven't installed a computer without NetRemote, and that downloads these files by default. Right?

Oh, forgot to say that Girder starts anyway as soon as that box is clicked away.

It's the streamzap. Darn, why can't everyone use the same library?

And I don't even have it enabled. Come to think of it, does it even have a checkbox?

Since it didn't load on your computer it will not have a checkbox :-) I will ship 71 with Girder next time around.

OK, sounds nice. In the meantime I'll install NetRemote on that computer, which should take care of it.
