I think blocking only works in win2k and up. It uses a new API.

remap the keyboard this switches those nasty Multi media keys to normal keys and lets girder handle the MM stuff.
Warning this is tricky and not for the faint hearted. Don't try this without sufficient experience with the registery.

Hi,
I'm trying to block events by using the
Keyboard Ex driver Girder 3.0.25 running
on Windows 98SE.
The alternative Keyboard Ex driver seems
to fail when Girder is not in the foreground.
Learning and testing incoming keyboard events
works fine when Girder is the foreground
window, but as soon as it is in the
background or iconified, the learned keyboard
events are ignored.
In spite of this, Girder's original keyboard
driver works fine. But I want to block some
keys from the applications.
Any suggestions?

Any other tips on how to block events?

Hmm. Both pages seem to handle anything later than Win98, but not Win98 itself...
