I'm glad someone got this to work. I didn't hear more from the other folks having problems.

EDIT: Could I ask you to do something for me?

Would you please export your final device settings to a file, zip it up and send it to Ron to place on the serial device page? This would allow others, with the same device, to use what you have learned.

From the readme.txt file:
5) Exporting a port configuration
To save a port configuration to an .ini file, select file/settings .../Hardware Plugins and select Generic Serial Support. Press the Settings button. Select the target configuration from the pulldown list box. Press the Export button. The "save as" dialog will appear and you should choose the file name for the .ini file. Press the open button and the port configuration will be saved in the .ini file.

BTW, thanks for your perseverance.

Has anyone been able to get the Turtle Beach serial RF remote to work with Girder?
Here is a link to the product: http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/products/audiostation/accessories.asp
I have tried using the generic serial driver, but this rf unit does not seem to output a standard series of codes.
Any suggestions?
