Can Girder use IR Blaster that comes with Hauppauge WinTV?

I recently bought a Hauppauge Wintv-PVR-150 (1045) version that comes with a infrared remote and an IR Blaster. The IR Blaster and IR Receiver attach to a spcial port on the TV Tuner card itself. I do see pluigins to link Girder to IR Receiver. Does any one know if I can get Girder to use the IR Blaster to control other devices like TV?

What about the send/receive kit for the Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150-MCE kit for media center? It hooks up via USB, looks just like an USB UIRT. I have the IR Blaster non mpeg wintv card too, I never bothered to hook it up until just now... pretty useless.
