Carmero, PLEASE give some more detail. Do I have to beg ?

* Girder version
* Plugin version ( Use the version you see in on the hardware tab of the settings window should be 1.1 )
* Does the plugin actually send the "Drive X: Arrived" / "Drive X: Removed" ?

Thanks for the update, I'll add a little readme to the plugin so people don't run into this trap again.

All versions of Girder (from 3.0.24 or earlier to 3.1.beta14.
Plugin ver. 1.1 (and earlier version too).
Plugin doesn't send any commands to Girder.
I used it (previous version) under Windows 98 and all was OK.

Yes. It's clear for me now. I've disabled an autorun function in registry (HKLMSystemCCSServicesCDRomAutorun=0).
Now it's working. Sorry, Ron.
But... It worked under Windows98 even with disabled autorun. It was more convenient.

What you say is true. Use DVDspy instead of Device Notifier. It can tell the difference.

Hi,

i have a problem with the Device Notifier Plugin.

The logger displays separate event strings for insert and eject:
Dev: 22 Drive:D arrived
Dev: 22 Drive:D removed

I only want to use the "arrived" event, so i made a command and teached the event, which also appears as "Drive:D arrived" - looking good.

Unfortunately this command fires on *every* device notifier event - insert *and* eject.

Any ideas?

Thank you Ron for the quick service

BTW: The updated and the original version are working with XP here.
