You probably downloaded Girder 3.1 beta 13. The SlinkE plugin was mistakenly compiled against the debug version of the MFC. If you do not have a SlinkE attached to your computer you can safely remove the slinke.dll from the pluginshardware directory. That should solve this problem. However I strongly urge you to upgrade to the latest beta ( 14 ) because beta 13 has a flaw when copying/pasting.

You need to pratice a little with Girder.

The first thing you'll need to know are states. That will solve your first problem.

http://www.girder.nl/help/girderhelp/states.php

The second problem is probably related to the first, so please go and read a little on how girder operates.

Hello everybody,

I got a little problem...

I downloaded the 3.1 Version and installed it. Every time I start the programm I got 3 error messages shown:

1. MFC42D.dll could not be found
2. Error: Girder3.1PlugInsHardwareSLinkE.dll
3. Error: Error code: 0

After these messages have been shown the programm launches.

The first problem seems to be clear to me. Just a missing file?! So where do I get the MFC42d.dll?
The second problem is something I don't understand because the SLinkE.dll file is in the pluginsHardware folder. Is it damaged? Where can i get the right one?
Error code: 0... I don't have an idea...

I didn't do much with Girder yet. But i got another problem while using. When I configure a command (left click) to the play button of musicmatch jukebox 7 with help of the capture function, strange things happen when I push the button on my remote control i assigned the function to. The Windows Explorer launches and i can move the MusicMatch window just by moving the mouse without holding down the left mouse button. Got these problem got anything to do with the errors at the start up?

So if anyone can help me out...many thanks...

Thanx Ron... 3.1 beta 14 loads without any problem.

But another problem still exist. I want to get MusicMatch JukeBox 7 to run with my remote (Sony RM-D597). Because I don't know much about Girder yet, I tried some easy things. First I added a TopLevelGroup which I named MusicMatch.
In this group i added a multigroup for loading and unloading musicmatch with the same button.
To load the program via remote is no problem but when I want to unload it it closes itself and runs again just by a single button click. I tried to solve this problm with the "repeat wait time" feature (250 ms) but it doesn't work the way it should.
The other problem is the play function. I tried to do it with the "command" option and "left click". I captured the play button of MusicMatch. When i test it in the capture window it works but when i try to do it via remote it doesn't. The only thing happens when pushing the play buton on my remote is that the internet explorer starts (maybe a wrong click on the MusicMatch logo on the upper left corner of the program?!). The second result is that when i start to move the mouse the MusicMatch window moves, too, without clicking anywhere. And all this just by a single click on the play button.

What can I do???
