Are you using traybar mode ?
What plugins are loaded ?
I'm trying to figure out where this is coming from but because I run win2k I don't have this problem, so work with me here.
Disable all plugins and try to reproduce the crash. If the crash happens report back and I'll send you an TEST version of Girder with something disabled to test if my guess is correct.

I've noticed this strange thing on the beta 9 (or earlier) but I didn't pay my attention on it.
Girder 3.1 (now it is beta 14) often hangs my computer absolutely after editing GML-file, saving and (then) mimimizing Girder. It takes place in ablolutely similar situation - when I press "minimize" key (Windows freezes that moment). I've checked my tree. It was fine.
I don't know is it a bug or my problem. My OS is WinXP.

Update:
I experimented with Girder 3.1b14:
I loaded WindowsXP some times and tried to restore and minimize Girder many times until its hangup doing nothing else.
1-st loading: hangs after 7th minimizing.
2-nd loading: after 22-nd minimizing.
3-rd loading: after 19-th minimizing.
4-th loading: after 29-th minimizing.

Eureka!
Igor SFH-56 (version 0.99) device causes a hangup. It's exact.
Ron, do you can to check it or inform Igor Cesko about this problem?

Igor,
thanx for fast answer.
You are right.
He-he..It B.Gates is guilty (old mischief-maker ).
It is a clear bug of WindowsXP. When I set a priority of any application to realtime, Windows hangs after one or some presses to "minimize" button at right upper corner. (as Girder was before).
I'll try to set your plugin priority to lower level. It's need to wait a service pack from MS.

The same thing happened to me once with one of the newer betas. When I clicked the minimize button my computer froze hard - had to use the reset button to restart it. Hasn't happened again and I haven't tried to reproduce it yet. I'm also running WinXP.

I want to have more information: try to disable my plugin - hangs without using it???
Try to set in SFH-56 plugin settings Priority bellow 7: in Priority=7,8 I set Girders priority to Realtime. And my WinXP allways hang up when I try to close window of any application with window upper right cross (only with this cross!!!).
For example: I run calculator, I set its priority to realtime (warning occured) and then I close calculator by mouse and window upper right cross= hang up (HARD RESET).
This depends from computer - in friend notebook this is no problem.
Please e-mail me your experiences

Hello!
Uff! I wiil be happy. I begin to think that there is some bug in my plugin. I have installed WinXP on my old disk for testing WinXP 1 month ago. I found this bug, but I have hope that this is my computer bug. But now it is clear that there is WindowsXP problem!!!
Thanks for information (I firstly look into this Forum - Great!)
