Hello,

I'm trying to tweak my CCF (created in Tonto, running Netremote pro+IR on a Dell Axim 3i) so that I can use the hard buttons to navigate between pages and menus (I've got the data for about 350 CDs and 400 DVDs in two sony changers).

First, is there a simple action or IR code which I can use to make netremote jump back to the previous screen? And a second code to get netremote to jump forward to the next page in a device list?

Second, do I need to do anything special to run the command from a hard button?

To date I've just used a complex series of tabs, alphabet selectors and device templates for navigation, but I really wish I could discover a generic command I can imbed which would take me back to the last page viewed (no matter the device).

Any help would be much appreciated.

In the action editor, if you select "jump", the first tree node is "special". In there are three "special" jumps - Scroll Up, Scroll Down, and Back.

Back will jump to the previous screen (only one screen is kept in history, you cannot go back multiple times).

Scroll Up will jump to the previous panel in the current device
Scroll Down will jump to the next panel in the current device

Note that "hidden" panels cannot be jumped to in a "Scroll" jump.

Ben,

Thanks for answering my question...now if I had only bothered to ask several months ago I would have saved myself alot of design work and manual labor. I guess that's why its called a hobby.
