Its pretty difficult for us to guess why it doesn't work if you don't even tell us what kind of receiver your friend made ( btw doesn't he dare to ask himself ? :smile: )

An IR receiver that works very well is the UIR

But this is by no means the only one. If you want to go even cheaper checkout the SFH-56 receiver by Igor Cesko.

A friend try to make his own IR Module , it works with Girder , but girder always see the Identical signal ( :smile:

Otherwise , can You explain me where I can find a IR Module who's working good and his references ? :smile:
