I'm having problems sync-ing ccf's modified in NetRemote Designer to my iPaq 2210. I re-installed the entire NR Pro + IR Suite tonight -- both on the PC and on the PPC. I changed the text on one label on the Lights section of the default ccf, activesync said one item needed to be updated, i did a sync and the new label appeared in the ccf loaded on my PPC. I thought everything was working just fine.

I modified the text on the remainder of the labels in NR Designer, saved the modified file, exported it to NR. Activesync said one item needed to be updated. I tried to sync again, but the sync failed. The error message said that items couldn't be resolved bc:

1. there wasn't enough memory on the PPC (NR is the only non-standard program on the PPC's main memory and the PPC memory app shows about 45mb of space available)

2. the file "new-pro" is set as read-only (Windows Properties says it isn't)

3. I don't have permission to sync the file (ActiveSync lists the program in the files to be updated)

What gives?

TIA.

Brad

Hi Brad -
I haven't tried syncing the CCF like this, but it makes sense that you'd want to do it this way.

Will it not sync the file because the designer has the file locked? What happens if you exit the Designer and sync then?

Does a soft-reset correct the issue (I know that's not a good long-term fix, but it will help diagnose).
