Hey folks... spent all morning looking for the Girder Lua Scripting Quick guide -- or some other reference document that would have lua commands that pertain directly to Girder -- commands like LoadPlugin/UnloadPlugin, etc, and any other stuff to make a Variable Manipulation script go.
Seems that the main F1 Help Function within the Variable Manipulation script dialog just directs me to Promixis' main page -- so I'm guessing that some of the documents have been moved or deleted.

It seems that all girder URLs that pointed to girder.nl all point to promixis' main page soooo... I'm hoping they exist somewhere on this site, although the search engines haven't been awful helpful. Sorry to be a pain. Thanks for any insight on this.

I revived some of the old docs, please ignore all the security errors and errors on the webpage.

And here are some examples that I found throughout the site.. some download section, so not...
includes LUA Windows Functions, System Functions, basic Lua demos, and IE Obj. Advanced usage for these can be found scattered throughout the forum.
The one example list that is missing is File Management... there is a thread around here that has them listed though.
Good Luck,
Treetop

I suppose it would be too much to ask for -- but there wouldn't happen to be a one-stop shop(although in some ways this forum counts as one) for this sort of reference information -- a place where there would be a semblance of order, would there? :-? I've grabbed as many manuals as I can and gone through them, but I feel like somehow my information is incomplete -- and that there are numerous undocumented commands to be uncovered. While I certainly enjoy the experience of discovering new things on my own during my spare time, it is a bit less pleasurable when I'm looking for something specific in a short amount of time, and not having all the information in one place and knowing that there are lots of hidden easter eggs all over the place compounds the problem because I don't know when to give up -- I don't know when such a command does not exist, so I wind up wasting a lot of time when there are people breathing over my shoulder.
Yes, it's a long rant, but I really do try to find things out on my own with Google and the forum searches and the site searches, and by and large, I find what I'm looking for, but it takes an awful lot of time.
Ah well, never mind me -- I just feel it necessary to point out a need that I think we all feel from time to time. -- thanks for the LUA examples, Treetop! :)

We agree and if you look at the Girder 4 manual you'll find a lot of information in one spot!!

Whoa, whoa... hang on... I just fell off the turnip truck... Girder 4? I had gone to Italy and France for a month after suffering a major hard drive crash -- and I only recenly put Girder back on and got things semi-running again. Is Girder 4 no longer in Beta and can be purchased? I just noticed it in the store -- I was kind of expecting a huge fanfare and red carpet to unroll in my mailbox with fireworks shooting out announcing Girder IV.
(Insert Emoticon of me, knocked on my butt, dazed, and blinking stupidly.)

G4 is in public beta and is 25% off during this period.
