Ron,
Could you make a "learn" option enhancement for Girder 3.1:
When I select command (or multigroup)in the tree, pressing "learn" button causes appearance of new event string with this learned event.
When I select an event string itself, pressing "learn" button causes rewritting of existed (that concrete) event.
It can be much more convenient than everytime making of new event string by hand.
If you cannot or don't want to do it, you can make a new drop-down "learn" menu point called "New event".

mitko, thanks for moral support
But if my proposal is approved, you won't need "Clear eventstring" feature. You can simply delete an eventstring itself in the tree and make it again too.

Yes this will be convinient - Girder should act always the same when the Learn Event funciont is called while a command/multigroup is selected - just the way it works now when there is no eventstrings for the command.

And one more little request. Is it possible to put back the "Clear eventsring" command in the popup menu. I couldn't find it anywhere. Am I blind  or it simply is not in Girder any more?

Yes I thought of the same
I asked about the "clear eventstring" in case Ron don't change the Learn Event behaviour. (or even if he changes it I think it will be usefull sometimes)
