Depending on which version of Girder that you are using there is the following
3.0
Question ( in the Girder Action tab )
3.1
Simple OSD ( in the Girder Action tab )
For both Girders there is Popup OSD by Mark Fiechtner available. Just put this into the multi group that disables/enables the groups.

You can only have 1 action per command so you will need to create an extra command for the osd with the same state settings as the group enable command

Hi, been playing with Girder for a couple of hours and I'm well impressed with the functionality available!
I've managed to get three groups set up and and selectively enable and disable each one based on state changes ie using a single button press (as per the help file). My question is how do I create an OSD that flashes up each time a diferent group is enabled?. I've looked but can't seem to find much info on OSD?

Thanks Ron, Sorry to be a pain but where do I insert it. The MultiGroup consists of 6 commands:
DVD_on
DVD_Off
Winamp_on
Winamp_off
Win_on
Win_off
These are all working quite happily. Now I want the command Winamp_on to disable the other two groups and pop up an OSD saying "Winamp". I highlight the command and the Girder TAb shows Enable Group etc. I select the plug ins tab and select OSD Popup. Complete the message string and select "apply" and OK. Go back t o the Girder tab and all looks OK. Select another command and then go back to Winamp_on and the Girder tab seems to have lost its settings. Recreate the Group enable and go to the plugins tab and the OSD popup seems to loose its settings.
What am I doing wrong
