Newbie needs help.

After reading the manual and searching the forum I have been able to use NR to develop a VERY basic remote on my Axim x50. Now I have been trying to get it perfected and have three issues that I cannot seem to resolve.
1. When I use my CCF it takes up the whole screen on the PPC (thereby losing the toolbar at the bottom). I have tried to create a button and then attach the toggle full screen command from NR designer with no luck. Is there someting I am missing or not doing?
2. I am still having a hard time configuring the hard buttons. I have confiured them in the CCF and on the PPC but the commands do not seem to correspond. Is there a how-to documented somewhere?
3. I still do not understand the templates (system, device, etc). I have not configured these and the remote still works. I feel that there is someting I am missing. Perhaps if I did a master config to a template I would not need to do that to every device? If that is a correct assumption then is this documented somewhere?
Thanks in advance. I did try to search the archives, although I found references to all of the above I still could not muddle through it. Thanks for any help. :(

1. Do you mean it starts in fullscreen? You can change this in the general properties (Start NetRemote in FullScreen).
2. So you've learned the hotkeys, and then assigned actions, but to no avail?
3. The docs coming with the designer best explain this, but for now, these templates allow you to create 3 reusable pages that other devices will use. For instance, putting a background graphic on the homeTemplate will show that background on all page groups.

However the templates don't allow for hard keys, only for soft keys.
