Since I was having access problems with my GlobalCache, I defected and purchased a USB-UIRT. One thing I noticed was that a number of IR codes which worked fine when output from the GlobalCache (specifically, for my XBox, and for my DirecTivo) no longer work using the UIRT. For the most part, my other devices are working with the UIRT.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a recommended setting for the plug-in that might help? Is there an obvious difference that could cause a Pronto-format IR that worked on the GC not to work on the UIRT?
I can always try re-learning the codes using the UIRT, but I was hoping I might find a way to avoid that...
