Girder and PB Fast Media, Help Me

For the Packard Bell remote make sure that the input signal is set to DCD.

I have my PB Fast Media remote plugged in to COM2. COM2 is set to IRQ3 COM1 is set to IRQ4. I installed the Igor plugin, have it selected, under settings it's set to COM2, (what about input type?) and in the main screen, it shows as enabled, but pressing buttons the status light does not change from green. Can anyone put this helpless n00b in the right direction? I'm hoping I didn't just get a faulty remote, but probably just software.

Oh, and I'm running Win2k.

Ok, I used Serial Watcher to verify that my remote is sending signals, which it is, to COM2. Now, what the hell is going on that Girder can't see those signals. Thanks.

Set to DCD, still nothing.

Igor version 1.00
Green LED does not change colors to Yellow when I press buttons.
