Let me guess you downloadeda a separate SlinkE driver. Not needed, the correct driver is included in the download.

Windows XP
Girder 3.1beta17
Slink plug-in .92

I keep getting the "parent window = 0" error on startup if the Slink plug-in is enabled. Do I have something installed or configured incorrectly?

Thanks

Ed

Thanks. I'll try with a clean install.

Great! That worked. I needed to run the installer with the custom install choice to get the plug-in installed, but once I did, it worked fine. Thanks

Ok guys! Someone please give me a clue here. I have a laptop, Windows XP, with CDJ, DVDLobby Pro, Girder 3.1, with a Slinke attached to the serial port, 2 Sony CD changers, 1 Sony DVD changer. CDJ works great with the CD changers for my music. How do I get DVDLobby or Girder to work to make it control the DVD changer?

After reading the some of the posts here, I installed again, this time making sure the Slinke driver was installed, made sure it was activiated, now what do I do? DVDLobby creates a batch (.bat) file calling girder with -eventstring and some number. What is this supposed to do? I have the changer hooked up through the Control-S port of the Slinke.

I would really appreciate some help!

Thanks,
Dean
