Is Girder 4.0 ready for noobs?

Most of the Beta forum posts are like an alien language to me. Would it be a good idea to go ahead and upgrade so I can get used to it or just wait till it's somewhat more noob proof?

Can I have girder 3,3 and girder 4.0 on the same PC?

Is Girder 4.0 really an upgrade or a whole new gizmo?

i'd say its easier than v3 as it has proper documentation

yes as long as you dont run them at the same time
