Keyboard control might not be the right way to go. Try the Command Capture stuff.

I'm trying to control PowerDVD XP with Girder 3.1. I have it working when I play a CD but when I play a DVD, then PowerDVD doesn't see my commands. Girder (?) beeps one to three times when I try to execute a keyboard command.
I have tried all combinations of Target Window, sending to invisible tasks, to the video window etc. I have used the Alt Proc. keyboard way but to no avail...
The intersting thing is, that the commands work without problems, when I press F5 in Girder...
I'm using the Internet Event Server to control Girder from a webbrowser.
Any ideas?
Thanks JC

I spoke to soon - back to the original behaviour... Now I have the situation that it sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't... I have the feeling that I'm overlooking something trivial...

Actually it does - I now have a group for PowerDVD XP that seems to work pretty good. Ron, I will do some more tests and then send it to you, ok?
