Netremote to marantz 5000i

Ok, so i've configured a rather nice interface for my pda in netremote. However, i'd like to now add that interface in to an older 5000i.. I realize some of the features will not work, but it would be nice to at least send IR commands.. Any ideas ?

Other than starting from scratch, not really!

The 5000i is only 4 shades of grey (well bluey-green) isn't it?

Not sure actually.. Someone gave it to me, so i figured i might as well use it . I'm currently deploying a netremote system for him to be controlled via a dell Axim. He purchased the newer model color, not sure what model #. He ripped all 880 of his cds to mp3's so now it's my turn to set everything up. I hope his newer controller can import into netremote. Ie, upload all of his current controlls, and then add the mediabridge controlls.
